Cattle King Protein Meal is an ideal protein supplement for beef and dairy cattle, sheep and horses. Protein meals can be useful when feeding for high performance as they contain both protein and high energy.
Cattle King Protein Meal is essentially dried distillers grain which is a by-product of distilling ethanol from various grains. Cattle King Protein Meal consists of the fibre, oil and protein leftover once the starch has been used for ethanol production. As the starch has been removed the risk of acidosis and subsequent laminitis and infertility problems is eliminated. This makes Cattle King Protein Meal an ideal feed for stud cattle and to finish cattle on pasture. It can be used to feed early weaned calves or when creep feeding young calves.
Feed at up to a maximum of 1% of bodyweight as a supplement to hay or pasture. Provide clean water at all times.
As the meal has a high oil and fibre content it is an ideal supplement for horses on dry pastures. Working horses will only require a small amount in conjunction with other high energy feedstuffs while breeding and growing horses can be fed up to half a kilogram per head per day.
Protein meal is available in 30kg bags, tonne bags or loose bulk. Bagged product is available ex Brisbane, Sarina or through any Cattle King agent. Bulk product can be delivered to your property and handled with any grain handling equipment.
